Responsible Gambling
These games are designed to make money for the operator over time. If gambling has stopped being fun, help exists and it is free.
The maths, plainly
Every round is independent and the house edge is built into the wheel. No pattern, streak or statistic — including everything published on this site — changes the odds of the next spin. A bonus round that has not landed for two hours is not "due". Our numbers describe what happened; they say nothing about what happens next.
Signs worth taking seriously
- Betting more than you planned, or more than you can comfortably lose
- Chasing losses to get back to even
- Borrowing money, or hiding how much you play
- Playing to escape stress, boredom or low mood
- Gambling getting in the way of work, sleep or relationships
If several of these sound familiar, talking to someone helps more than you would expect. None of the services below charge money.
Where to get help
United States
- National Council on Problem Gambling — call or text 1-800-GAMBLER, available 24/7
- Gamblers Anonymous — meetings across the US
United Kingdom and Ireland
- BeGambleAware — free confidential advice, National Gambling Helpline 0808 8020 133
- GamCare — support, counselling and self-help tools
- GAMSTOP — free self-exclusion from UK-licensed sites
Europe and elsewhere
- Gambling Therapy — free online support in many languages, worldwide
- Gamblers Anonymous international meetings
- Many countries run national self-exclusion registers — for example Spelpaus in Sweden, ROFUS in Denmark and OASIS in Germany. Your national regulator can point you to the right one.
Practical steps that work
- Set a deposit and time limit before you start, and use the operator's own limit tools — every licensed casino must provide them
- Use self-exclusion if limits are not enough; it is designed to be hard to reverse on purpose
- Block gambling sites on your devices and ask your bank about gambling transaction blocks
- Never gamble with money meant for rent, food or bills, and never borrow to gamble
Age restrictions
Gambling is for adults only: 18+ in most countries, 21+ in several US states and other territories. If you are under the legal age where you live, do not follow our links to operators.
